Flora Xu

About Flora:
Flora is a Resource & Environmental Management student. She enjoys having bike rides, finding new places to hike and attempting to do embroidery. She cherishes the times where she gets to catch up with friends and even those long hours of cramming for finals at the library or a cafe. Flora is very passionate about incorporating sustainability into urban planning and making cities more resilient for the future. Through the work with UNICEF SFU, she hopes to gain and also share valuable experiences!

Are you more of a hunter or a gatherer? I am definitely more of a gatherer. Ever since I was little, I loved collecting all sorts of things, from dried up flower petals to stationeries and tickets. I also can not get myself to kill any animals personally, so I would probably starve if you ask me to hunt for food.
